Te Ura Rakau (Forestry New Zealand) Mānuka Planting initiative

Thank you to those that registered an interest for planting free mānuka seedlings under the Te Uru Rākau (Forestry New Zealand) mānuka 2018 initiative being managed by Mānuka Farming  NZ Limited. Over 105 applications were received for 5.2 million seedlings, significantly above the 1.8 million seedlings made available under the initiative.

Preference was given to those applications with larger land blocks, who were ready for planting this year, and where the landowner was in a position to fully fund the other costs associated with the establishment of a mānuka plantation.

While we are as yet uncertain if this initiative will be re-introduced next year, if it does, we would like contact you. For this reason, we ask for your permission to be on our database so that we can communicate this and other relevant developments occurring within the industry or our company.

To give us permission to do so, please confirm this by a return e-mail to info@manukafarming.co.nz

Mānuka Farming NZ Limited have a range of services and expertise to help landowners evaluate options for developing mānuka plantations, plantation design, honey commercialising options from these plantations along with potential joint-venture opportunities . Should you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to contact us.

We thank you once again for registering your interest in the Te Uru Rākau (Forestry New Zealand) Mānuka 2018 initiative, and look forward to working with you in the future.
